Hi, About fearing God, The explanation is given nicely. These explanatory verses denote How to fear God & it’s blessings_: Fear God_: 1) ln working out our own salvation. (Philippians . 2:12-13 ) states : ‘Work out your own salvation with fear & trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will & to work for His good pleasure.’ 2) ln cleansing ourselves from every defilement of body & spirit. (2 Corinthians 7:1) says :’ Beloved ,let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body & spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.’ 3) ln keeping His command ments. These are 2 verses _: !) (Ecclesiastes. 12:13 ) states : ‘ Fear God & keep his command ments, for this is the whole duty of man.’ !!) (Deuteronomy. 5:29 ) states : ‘God said, “Oh that they had such a heart as this always, to fear me & to keep all my commandments, that it might go well with them & with their descendants forever.’ 4) ln turning away from evil.
